Once again the bible thumping man displays how little he knows. Therapists are again experimenting with LSD, particularly with people nearing the end of their earthly days, sort of in hospice settings. Word is that many people are reporting profound experiences.

Yup, I done it myself back in '71 and '72. You have to try it to really get it. It's an unexpectedly interesting experience. It does sap the energy stores so doing it too often is not good. Timothy Leary was a wild eyed fool and burnt himself out on it.

But I'm sorry, this blanket sneering by them who almost certainly don't really know a thing about it is tiresome.

Abrams continues...........

`DR. GOTTLIEB WAS in charge of an operation called MX-ULTRA, whose purpose was to find out how LSD could change a persons behavior by covert means. Specifically, the CIA wanted to know if, by administering LSD to a captured enemy agent, they could break down his resistance and get him to reveal his secrets. And if that wasnt possible, they conversly wanted to know if they gave LSD tablets to our own agents to take in the event of capture, would it scramble their minds that they couldnt reveal the secrets they knew to their captors.

Gottlieb honestly believed that LSD was going to completely change the worlds espionage methods.

I had no idea LSD is once again being used in an medical application.

My understanding is that the drug unplugs receptors in the brains neurons, and plugs them back into differant receptor locations.

So, in essance, while taking a trip one may 'smell a color-or see a sound'.
