First Casualty of 2011 Fall TV Season

"Charlies Angels" has been cancelled. Probably answering the question, did anyone watch . . or care?

You're correct, I misread that it was ABC's first casualty, but NBC's Playboy Club did get axed on October 4th.

Never saw the show, but knew it was doomed when a reviewer commented that NBC had accomplished the impossible . . . it made a show about Playboy that wasn't sexy.

The Playboy show, being a period piece and all, probably cost tons of money per episode. But then, Mad Men seems to be doing OK.

In one review of the Playboy Club, or whatever it was called, the reviewer said he did not feel he should write a review since he quit watching it half-way through.

And he was getting paid to watch it.

By the way... I love 'Futurerama'.

I do think the older episodes were better written.

Being shot in Chicago it was pretty cool seeing some of the old cars on the show were actually people's cars that i knew. Really, that was the only reason I watched it

I sometimes watch 'Walker, Texas Ranger' just to see the shots of D/FW from twenty years ago.

Shows like that do better if they are piloted immediately after a successful movie run.

Kinda a few years too late IMHO...
