Why would anybody retract what was taken from an official gov report? The gov is supposed to get it right BEFORE they go public so that people will not base actions on falsity. If anything, O'Reilly should be pissed-off that the gov gave him erroneous info as though it were factual.

Let's play a game. Suppose the gov told you a certain product was safe to eat and you then proceeded to eat it and got sick as a result. Is it the fault of the reporter that publicized the gov report or is it the gov?

Too funny . . . I would think that NOAA gets that all the time. Or the Department of Ag . . . the OMB . . .

Insofar as an audit is like a weather, crop or economic forecast, I agree.
