wow, I hope that was a joke. WBC members are so very odious that nothing they say would be welcome here. LB may have opinions that differ from yours, but differing opinions that are not outside the realm of common decency are what makes this country work.

What disturbs me the most about them is that we give them a reason to exist. We're giving them reason to exist right now by talking about them.

If they didn't make the national news on a monthly basis, if they weren't discussed, rather the press realized they're fueling the fire and stopped publicizing them at all, would they continue? I seriously doubt they would at their current levels. Someone famous dies, Westboro sends out a press release saying they're protesting it, and they're in the news again, playing the press and us like a fiddle.

They are human garbage. They want us to discuss, hate them, and commit acts against them. The best thing we can do is completely ignore them in the press, and counter-protest anywhere they go 10-1. It seems to work well here in Kansas, which is their home state.

I can sympathize with them on that. The state is so boring it may be a cause of insanity. Westboro, Sam Brownback, Dennis Rader (BTK)...
