B.O.'s Reelection Strategy Is Going As Planned
I'm sure that B.O. cracked open a bottle of Champagne last night to celebrate a successful milestone in the Reelection Campaign.
Being able to villify the R's in the not so "Super Committee" because they refused to raise taxes to further hammer B.O.'s failing economy, continues his strategy to blame someone else for his failings. He's gone on record blaming the Earthquake in Japan, the Republican House (even though he has two of the three branches and had all three for his first two years,) and of course the old stand by "blame Bush." The sad thing is that by and large, the American Electorate is so gullible that the majority actually believed that cutting 3% off of the budget would actually do something. All that crap over a 3% cut. I have to hand it to B.O. he really knows how to exploit a generally ignorant electorate. |
Blaming others to 'rally your masses' is not leading. Throw 'em all out and let's start over. Over the past two years, I have told my wife that when it comes time to march in the streets against our over-spending governemnt (all of them, not just Reps and Dems), I'll gladly take a few days of work and go. I won't go protest with the crazies from the Occupy crowd, but I'll go protest when normal Americans get together (if ever).

I doubt there are ANY "normal Americans". Be have been polarized into extremes. If you marched against spending, you would be asked "Why do you hate the poor," or ______ (name your own group). If the OWS crowd had defined themselves as being against the Wall Street Bailouts, and the bonuses paid to WS execs using tax=payer money--I'd be with them. |
The Democrats offered trillions in social spending cuts and asked for a tax increase on millionaires, which the Republicans refused to do. What exactly were the Republicans offering in return for the social spending cuts, then? Oh, that's right.... nothing. Period. Nothing. In the end, they simply refuse to compromise for the good of the nation in order to protect the rich. That's called a fact.
