Let's try a different subject and see how much hate this one will draw toward me:

We went through a TERRIBLE drought this year here in North East Texas and a BIG chunk of this part of the country. We are still WAY behind on rainfall with the lakes and ponds dreadfully and scarily low.

We have gotten a few inches of rain in the last weeks which has at least greened things up some. It appears that we will be lucky to have normal rainfall this Winter and Spring.

I'm sure that some of you are not happy to hear of my good fortune, but, there it is.
