So there was no issue with her competence as a teacher (at least as far as the article was concerned) but that fact that she was nude and having sex disqualifies her as a teacher? Yet it is OK to have convicted criminals on news shows (that's OK) and have them do community service in schools to tell kids not to do what they did.

This country is so ass backwards that nudity is frowned upon but playing violent games and watching violent sports is just fine.

So long as she is not bringing her past into the class room what the hell is the issue? i wonder if she was a he with the same past if there would be an issue? I doubt anyone would have even looked.

there was another thread recently on here about a porn star working in schools reading to students. No big deal.

Over here teachers often go & look on dating sites just before parent teacher interview nights. They get a laugh reading about some woman with great kids, she fails to mention that their kids are one offense away from being expelled & there are substance abuse issues as well. Makes it hard for the teacher to keep a straight face when just before they have seen a full frontal of the parent that could be used in a biology lesson.

Agreed 100%. Ah well, probably best for her -- that kind of "acting" pays better than teaching.

Also note that school officials often are the teachers who were too dumb to teach, so they got promoted out. They couldn't be fired (union rules) or euthanized (illegal), so promotion was the only option.

Biology? Hands on approach? The line up might be more than you could tollerate to get into her class though. unfortunatly I seriously doubt she will be reinstated. Too many parents would have a fit.
