Thumbs up Where in Florida?

...I think you should be able to get cheap hotels now. Not long ago hotels were desperate to get people in, and I don't think this has changed much. I guess the next question is where in Florida you want to stay?, what kind of acomodation you are looking for (* to ***** stars)? and what is cheap for you? There are some realy nice theme hotels here in Orlando, but they can get price. Any of the Disney hotels should be very nice. Then again there is just too many hotels in this place to narrow it down to one or a few.

Check into Red Roof Inns. They are very clean and comfortable and usually cost between $40-$50 U.S. Their reservation line is 1-800-843-7663. You might also check out La Quinta Hotels. They are quite a bit nicer than Red Roofs and usually cost $50-$80 a night. Ther reservation number is 1-800-687-6667.

I travel quite a lot and stay at either place most trips. They are always clean and comfortable. You can stay cheaper elsewhere, but, usually those are not nearly as nice and security can be a problem.

Enjoy your trip, if you get to Texas, give me a holler. (Ring me up)

If you're going to be in Orlando, then staying in Kissimee is the best bet. Red Roof Inns are not too shabby, but they might be a little bit noisy. Comfort Inns and Baymont Inn are the others which come to mind. Most of the lmited service hotels, ie., no restaurant, are going to be in the 40-60 range.
If you have the budget and would like to splurge, I recommend dining at Victoria and Albert's at the Grand Floridian, Disneyworld. Dinners are prix fixe, around $80, and a flight of wines which goes with that around $30. Very good, even if you're not a foodie it's a great experience.
