Anyone ever bid on Quibids auctions?

QuiBids, Welcome to QuiBids Online Auctions! - QuiBids.com it seems too good to be true. they appear to be making a lot of money at .60 per bid win or lose.

Yes it seems to be a good deal, except that it costs you each time somebody bids, so yes, it is too good to be true.

I'll bet that they do make a lot of money on those who bid...

I do not plan to be one of the bidders any time soon.

Oh, and I also do not plan to rent-to-own anything anything any time soon, either...

The hook with those sort of sites, I think, is not just that one has to pay for each bid that one places - but that the bidding can only be done in small increments.

If an item sells for $50, and the bids for that auction all had to be made in one-cent increments costing $0.60 each, well, there's $3,000.

I had a look and it seemed almost like a scam in some ways. The things you really possibly want seem few and far between.

I also suspect some bidding issues on the valuable items. Sure they ocassionally let good items go cheap to lure people in. There function is to really make money for them remember. Not sell us goods below cost.

that's exactly what I was thinking, it seems like Quibids is the only
one making out the deal; everyone else is getting screwed out of
their money. what's the old saying? there's a sucker born every minute??

I looked into that for about 5 minutes as a hopeful alternative to Ebay getting out of hand with it being practically a storefront.
Quibids just reeked of scam.
I only use ebay now for stuff that can't be found anywhere else.
Craigslist has been good to us, though.
