it is known as 'over driving' or driving way too fast for road conditions. happens everyday in this country because 90% of the drivers are
certified STUPID.

I posted that last week. My theory is the cruise control was on and it kicked in as the vehicle started up that grade, causing the tires to spin and it go out of control.

The guy in the van/truck that got hit initially did a good job of saving it.

Looks like they got up on some snow ruts and once the slide started, it was over. Their mistake was trying to change lanes in those conditions, bet you they were losing control from the first second they crossed out of the ruts. Also they were way too close, looks to me like a storm where pretty much all traffic was unaware of changing road conditions, the guy did't look to be going that much faster than the rest of traffic.

Was that a jimmy? This is pretty sad, I hope the car wasn't full of people. Sobering, because that's a mistake anyone could have made, even an experienced snow driver. I just this last winter did almost the same exact thing in my 86 jetta. I was so used to my much heavier MB or van, that I had no concept on how light that little vw was and how it would react to snow, and did a 720 down a country road and up over a berm into a field. If anyone had been coming, the same thing could have happened

He gets hit by what looks like an American style semi though. Its hard to tell, first truck that goes by looks European, but the second that hit him looked like a big sleeper cab freightliner or something.

Appears there was a fatal wreck (or a really serious one at least) a couple hundred feet from my place last night, got woken up by a ton of lights and a medical chopper landing next door. Never a good situation. They're doing investigation stuff now

The accident took place on the М-7 road in the Petushinski District, Vladimirskaya Region in Russia on February 24, 2012.

Nissan Navara Obliterated by a Semi on an Icy Road in Russia | Best Gore

Driver of Nissan Navara lost control of his vehicle on the slippery road and slid to the oncoming lane, right in the path of large freightliner. Upon impact, Nissan Navara got literally obliterated by the semi. The obliteration is actually much more severe than one would expect up until the moment of impact.

The uploader of the video learned that the name of the Nissan driver was Alexander. He died on the spot. Hid funeral was held on February 28 in Balashikha

Heavy slush or really wet snow. You have to keep out of the stuff. It feels like it grabs the tire. Actually it does create a high drag coeficient on the side of the car in the slush.

The driver unfortunatly got his drivers side tire into it. In this case he does not get a second chance unfortunatly. At twenty miles per hour enough slush can take your car off the road mind at highway speeds. You just have to respect the stuff. Also the timing of the event could not have been worse for him. Just sad overall other than I suspect he did not suffer.

Most of the current road rage/car crash videos art Russian. It pays to have a camera in one's car.

There is a video of a E30 touring full of people doing pretty much the same thing on a dry road. And yes, it really does seem most of those accident videos are from russia.
