If the argument that a diesel will run on hemp oil is being advanced then this thread should be in the alternate fuels sub forum in DD.

Some how I think hemp oil would be way too expensive to be used as fuel though.

I suspect it is being used as fuel for lack of thought by some.

we can but hope the thread develops lung cancer & dies in a painful way.

I wish more people had the option to medicate using cannabis rather than all the prescription drugs that are wreaking havoc on families, individual health and mental stability. So yes, happy 4/20!

Actually I agree with this. I'm not a smoker or use weed in any way (yes, I need the disclaimer) but knowing MANY people who do, its a fantastic remedy in a variety of situations, both mental and physical.

Apples and oranges.

Commercial hemp suitable for oil production does not contain THC-delta 9 in significant quantities.

There are far better plants to use for oil production, however the hemp plant has many other uses beyond oil. Paper and clothing from the fiber would be a good start.

A much more sustainable and heavier yielding crop for ethanol biomass than corn from what I've heard. No fertilizer, few pests, less water and greater yield.
