A friend at work has a HD that had a color he didn't agree with. He stripped the tins and I gave it a shot with Nason paints. Gave Black cherry a try using Horror Freight paint guns. Have about 70 bucks tied up in supplies. (I know the garage is a wreck.
)
The original color with cleared over stick on stripes.
Sanded all the striping and decals off. Some primer and the beginning of some corrective body shaping.
Hung it up and hit it with Black cherry base. This was the second coat of four on the clear.
After the fourth coat.
The fenders came along too.
Gonna try some "custom" designs next. Really learn gun control painting round and odd shaped parts.
