Ordered a used Trans. for my 300E 2.8 yeasterday
It is coming with T/C and a 3 month Wrnty, from a west coast chain wrecking yard, $495.
My Mechanic is charging me $225 for R & R I think I got off pretty easy

What was the reason you didn't want to do full rebuild? Just money out the door or you didn't want to keep the vehicle? My trans has 350 on the clock and I am thinking of getting a rebuild but not sure where.
