Gotta be unbalanced to take it that far. Individuals can have bad days but this is way over the top.
I hope he recovers well enough and is smart enough to get clear of her. Her intent was to kill him in her rage I think. It is also reasonable and a matter of individual judgement of how much we can agravate our wives before they will react in some way we do not want. Of course this varies greatly with the individual example of the specis. Anyways if they persist in their relationship without her getting serious help he will vote next time in the election has to be a given. She in my opinion has solved that issue. Thats if he is still alive to do so. Unless it is formally recognised that his wife has serious issues and are treated she will also be away for awhile. A charge of attempted manslaughter perhaps pleaded down to agrivated assault. I think the authorities will have to react strongly since there is a chance she may still yet kill him is present. I hope he is also smart enough when she tells him to jump. Thats if they stay together. To ask how high. He also had better put the garbage out when asked.
