Seattle MEET???

Guys any of u guys are doing meet in the Seattle area can u guys give me details about it or know anything about it??

I don’t know anything about a meet but have spoken with other members about it. The thought was to meet in Tukwila and go go carting and have lunch after, or go for a drive.

Any other ideas are welcome!

I was wondering when this would be brought up - seems like there's a good number of forum members in the PNW to make a meet well worth it (quality of the company notwithstanding ).

Those are both great suggestions Tracy! Though other than spotty, short stretches of road, I don't really have good suggestion for a drive. I've heard the go-karting is a blast though.

If it was financially feasible, I'd have my Benz over here, but it's parked back at the parent's place in Wenatchee, over on the East side of the mountains. Being a full-time UW undergraduate, it's hard to support having a car (or justifying one in most cases).

So, enjoy the meet!

Sam, I think the idea is to get together and see (and meet) the faces that go with the names on the forums. Funny as it sounds, I would imagine showing off cars to be of second importance to the comraderie of fellow MB enthusiasts, whether you arrived in one or not.

If there is a meet during the summer, I'll probably score the 380SE and come. Would be fun to drive to Mt. Rainier or something (went to Paradise in the Benz last summer, trying to keep ahead of a 328i BMW all the way up, it was quite fun).

How about Saturday, April 13? Hiway 410 leading into Mt Rainier probably won’t be open until sometime in June. There is a lot of snow on the road currently – around 10 feet or so. For a drive we could go to Snoqualmie Pass, or to Rosalyn (a little east of the Pass) to a place called the Oasis Cafe, or to Leavenworth, east of Steven’s Pass. Or go play with go-carts in Tukwila and have lunch down the road at Barnaby’s.

Are we bringing our SOs?
