Who defines "intellectual"? What I deem important to believe doesn't always fit in with what others see as important. I was under the impression that the tea party was trying to put the brakes on the out of control Govt in DC. Going back to the ideas that a FREE MAN(WOMAN,PERSON OF LEGAL AGE REGUARDLESS OF WELL YOU KNOW THE REST) could live their own lives as they see fit. (within the confines of the law of course)

AND the other point is that the Federal govt does have limits imposed on it by the constitution.

And if it is not spelled out in the ENumerated powers of the constitution it( the fed) should not be doing or funding it)
