No it was a tulonol based formulation. Now deemed carcinogenic I think. One reason that I removed my burnt clothes for others. . Was to estimate the amount of serious burn. I put it at less than 10 percent and it did not involve the face.

Beyond a serious percentage I knew to terminate myself. I had observed what major burn cases go through with their continuous ongoing for life adjustment skin grafts etc.

To me living in that state even if you survive initially is not worth the candle so to speak. I also doubt that the one to two year hospital stay is other than a form of torture. You might be amazed at how much clarity of thought there is right after the explosion.

You do not even know how much damage has ensued. Also because of body fluid losses with extensive percentage burns you may not make it anyways.

We have one local guy that was working on a seven or eleven thousand volt line live. He dropped a wrench. Him and the flaming fibreglass bucket came down.

He had about eighty percent burns and was lucky to survive at all at perhaps. His life since then has been pretty awful. Always in and out of hospital. Probably tired of people looking at his grotesque head as well.

Wow! What an experience. Glad you came through all right. I remember the scab removal that Chuck Yeager went through in one of his more serious crashes....sounded similar to the young nurses but it was his other head....face.

After I graduated from college, I was really skinny, and wore a beard and had my hair kind of shoulder length.

When I moved to Japan to work, I was told repeatedly that I looked like Kenny Loggins. I was never told that in the U.S., but the Japanese seemed to think so.

I travel quite a bit across the U.S., and on airplanes, at airports, and at hotels across the country, I've been told I look like the guy the does the news on the local new station.

I guess I have that generic middle 40's white bread kind of look.
