Residency in a country is not like a marriage where you're required to only sleep with one.

Well, you did say you'd be gone if.... So do it. Show me you can find a better place that you can get along with better. I have had people tell me they will kill themselves. Prove it. Wanna ban yourself like Larry did? Do it. Show me you can do what you say. Either that or don't try to act like a tough loudmouth because that is all you are unless you can walk the walk.
Why would I even reside is a place I despise so much ASSUMING there is someplace better? Masochist? You talk of leaving for a better place? Why not? Or are you just a loudmouth that tries to act tough? I hated Singapore so I left it. I don't look back. I don't even want to go there unless you paid me HANDSOMELY and not for too long either. I often said I'd leave when I can which, unlike you, I did.
Bottom line is I had people tell me they would kill themselves, quit their job, leave their SO etc, etc. Most of them turned out to be the loudmouth I thought they would be. Only one was in doubt and that was because she died before we would know.
Fact is, while you talk about cutting and running, all you have is words. You can't cut and run simply because even if you got over there, you'd find that there are problems with that place because you can't have your way and you'd be back to square one threatening to leave, talking about options, etc, etc. For someone who talks as much as you, if you devoted 10% of that time to finding someplace better, you'd either find it by now or simply come to the conclusion that the best you can do without "cutting your nose to spite your face" is to brag about how you'd do this, that or the other. Much like you talking about punching that other boss in the nose. Another case of "loudmouth-itis". You don't have the capacity to do it without slitting your proverbial throat. Save the tough talk and ghetto speak for someone that is impressed by it.
