Who "Owns" the Newest Mercedes Benz?

Not leased, not making car payments, not your parent's . . . owned outright in your own name. I'll start out.

1999 C280 . . . 2nd owner of this 14 year old W202

Pending purchase of a 2005 E320cdi for myself.

Skid Row Joe would beat me with his 06. He might have sold a share of BH to get one.

1984 300D -- although it's going soon and all I'll have will be '82.

I guess I'm not a contender.

We'll see, I'm checking some cars out tomorrow on my day off - not necessarily too much MB on my list, but the 6 speed manual in philadelphia has gotten old quite quickly. As has the crappy A/C . Might be a "what did I just buy" game thread.

Highly recommend you keeping it, Tyler!
These are just awesome cars versus the W210 turbodiesels.

I bought mine, an '06 E320 CDI June 7th '13. Yeah, it's not new, just new to me. State of Texas Title came in the mail last week.

I am fortunate to have found a particular used MB W211 diesel, that I found I really wanted to upgrade to. I truly had no idea how greatly MB advanced their W211 turbodiesel, over the W210 turbodiesel.

The GOOD news is that IMO, the '05/'06 CDIs are becoming very affordable for those that may consider a newer MB diesel.

Thanks, layback40!

I can honestly say that in my older age, I am more proud of this very good condition used '06 MB CDI, than I ever was of my last MB bought brand new.

I feel that the shopping process for just the right used car or truck, is worth the journey/adventure! The appreciation I have of how the car was kept and maintained by it's previous owners for 7 years before I bought it, is a testament to how they cared for it.

The whole experience of buying used to me is something that cannot be duplicated buying new!

Here's (3) pics of the metallic Pewter Grey, new to me 06 CDI, up @ the Tuesday night classic car drive-in at the Taco Stand up on the Interstate highway near my home!

Exclamation

I paid cash for the 2011 w212 e350 Sport, seen here the day I traded it in at the end of May 2013 to the BMW dealer that sold me the new 535i M Sport, also seen here...

But maybe this doesn't count, as I already got rid of this '11 Mercedes Benz
