I am fortunate to have found a particular used MB W211 diesel, that I found I really wanted to upgrade to. I truly had no idea how greatly MB advanced their W211 turbodiesel, over the W210 turbodiesel. The GOOD news is that IMO, the '05/'06 CDIs are becoming very affordable for those that may consider a newer MB diesel.

I owned (paid cash on the spot) an 01 CLK55 and an 01 E320 wagon... new off the lot in 01....
Now, newest car in the fleet is a 19 year old Miata I paid a whooping $500 for

I paid cash for the 2011 w212 e350 Sport, seen here the day I traded it in at the end of May 2013 to the BMW dealer that sold me the new 535i M Sport, also seen here...
  But maybe this doesn't count, as I already got rid of this '11 Mercedes Benz
