cascade's 126 coupe is NOT an AMG model (contrary to his misleading signature), it's a US model. Dishonesty in advertising, but par for the course.

Not addressing any particular car, but there are AMG tuned US models. There were several authorized AMG tuning shops around the US prior to the merger with Mercedes.

I was addressing iwrock's statement that cascade's car is an AMG.

CALLING one's car an AMG in a forum signature is misleading (particularly highlighting said lie in bold/red letters), when it is well known that the car was not worked on by AMG or an AMG-authorized tuning shop in the US.

The only way one can credibly (and honestly) call their car an AMG is if has documented paperwork from AMG or said authorized tuning shop ... which cascade's car DOESN'T HAVE.
