Apparently, this "game" has been going on for a while. Further, it has another name used by virtually all of the participants: "Polar Bear Hunting." I wonder why our illustrious DoJ head honcho Mr. Eric Holder has not held a press conference to denounce this "game" as being racially motivated. I know if you simply use words and criticize our illustrious BO, major figures such as Oprah will call you racists on national TV. Here, getting suckered punched or even killed is just a silly game by some kids. Too bad the guy who got shot did not end up with more prison time or a more serious injury. Also lucky for the victim that our illustrious DoJ hasn't yet banned guns.

just read a story that called it polar bear hunting. bad ****, NOT a game.... what is going to happen is some group is going to start some preemptive "other than polar bear" hunting and the **** is going to hit the fan........

If that should happen, which is very unlikely, you will then see DoJ, our super hero BO, Oprah, and others step on stage with a pep rally and denounce the USA as being so racist.

More jail time ,period ,kid acts like this is nothing ,most people attacked would think different.THe video offers witness to thug like behavior ,even when their down the blows still keep coming until their unconcious.If things go south for the thugs I can Gaurantee they have a weapon to then control ,or if need be kill the individual .A 3 TO 5 yr sentence would be more along the lines of a premeditate ,taped while laughing CRIME.

The middle snippet below is appalling. 18 months for killing a man by beating and stomping him to death when the knockout BS apparently failed. Yes, they were 13 and 16, but 18 months? At the least they should be in the system until they are 21.

It's unfortunately that more people don't CCW; the roving gangs might not rove quite so much if there were more certain (and serious) consequences for their "game".

Preemptive? You mean somehow they'll be able to identify in advance the loser nimrods planning such attacks and take them out first?

Yeah, that'll work. What it would really be is about the same as the polar bear hunting in question. Finding black youth at random and cold-clocking them?? Oh boy. That'll solve the problem.

Wowza ... sounds almost like a MSNBC spin zone here. What was very, very clear in my post was that if the gangs or solo playa's in this "game" attacks the wrong person, that person has a real means to protect themself or herself and the game backs fire ... pun intended. Still, I find it so amazing the lack of media outrage or the lack of responsiveness from our DoJ. However, Mr. Zimmerman is still in the news. That really does tell a lot. I am thinking we need Oprah back on TV with her clever comments.
