What happened? Did he say something against the moderators? He could have gotten by with all sorts of shennanigans, but he wouldn't get by with criticizing their moderators.

Now that's funny. For anyone who spends any time on any internet forums, the truth in humor/humor in truth makes for good comedy. I just hope I don't find myself under the Banhammer for saying so.

Story like this makes me want to go down to the local Wally Mart with a bunch of ads to see if I can get the lifetime ban... that would be sweet.

Hiya Billy, Merry Christmas.

What I don't get from the OP is if this guy found cheaper prices locally, why didn't he go to the local places instead? Do people actually like going to walmart for things? I don't think I've met one person who ever liked shopping at wal-mart. The only reason people go there is because of its prices, which if beat, take away the sole purpose of going there. I wonder if they sell wooden crosses?

Some People simply shop at the closest place; if that is a Walmart then that is where they shop.

At one time I used to shop at a place similar to Walmart (GEMCO) because they also sold Groceries and I could get 98% of what I wanted in one trip (even Guns and Ammo).

In this particular case I got the impression that with His Hobby He likes to Play Walmarts Price Matching Game and Win.
I am guessing that this was causing a lot of work for Walmart because if you do not bring in an Ad from the other store showint the Price there Walmart hast to other Store to verify the other Stores price.

Sounds like rather than simply setting a limit on how many price matches Walmart would allow per Customer the decided it was easier to expell the Guy.
Setting a limit would not be descrimmination while expelling the Guy might be considered descrimination.
Then if Walmart won't allow someone to price Match as the advartised then there is false advertising.

Weighing quality against price I do not find wallmart the cheapest in Canada by a long shot. In fact we buy very little from that vendor.

For example this last week checked out their cheap snow tires. Same price or more as some decent brands that are not made in China with so many unknowns. My guess is far too many people take it for granted their prices are just automatically cheaper and do no comparisons.

If customers really knew they probably pay 10.00 for a tire they retail at perhaps 90.00 they might have second thoughts as well. Buying cheap and selling high I understand is a better formula for the vendor but not so good for the buyer if seeking quality or value is ignored.

Anyways as time goes by China is or will be demanding substantially more for there products and this will be a difficulty for wallmart. The uneducated consumer has been wallmarts target market. I believe the so called dollar stores are hurting them currently to some extent as their lines broaden. Just in general they are not seeking as much unethical markup.

Please provide specific examples with brand and pricing?

Even if you do have examples, Walmart will match the price on like merchandise. I don't see what all the 'to do' is about Walmart?

They buy everything from China that they can - just as ALL other mass merchandisers do.

Costco is a huge retailer of Chinese goods - so that's out.

You're not going to beat Walmart on price on like-merchandise. No way.
