One of our daughters while quite young hated the stuff. Said it felt like fish eggs in her mouth. Then she stated no amount of money or anyone could induce her to eat it. I always loved challenges from the girls.

So on my next trip to town added a six pack of the fish eyed puddings and a six pack of the bare vanilla flavor to my list.

When I arrived back home just carefully switched the labels and left the 6 pack of tapioca puddings in the fridge with the vanilla labels.

Well she grabbed one and was about halfway through it before stopping. I tried to be very unobvious that I was observing. She read the label and took another spoonful.

Of course my innocent act of being a participant in this crime was well performed. I had no ideal how they could have put the wrong stuff in the container. Somehow or other she just knew I was involved though.

50 years ago in your life you could have been glory bound without a doubt as an up and coming sales and marketing trainee for General Mills, or other food brands in the United States,

Selling CRAP and calling it TOOTHPASTE.

Except tapioca pudding is freaking delicious. Nothing crappy about it. Id instead call his actions bringing light to where there was once dark.

His daughter reminds me of a girl I once knew who would not eat guacamole because it was "green". It was ridiculous, she had never even tried it, she had no idea how good guacamole actually is, or just how delicious an avacado is in general, just because of the color

Tapioca/Cassava is one of the major food staples in the world, oddly enough.

I like tapioca too but seldom have a chance at it.

My late mother in law would not try peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. She liked peanut butter and she liked jelly but together they did not appeal so she lived her 95 years out without ever trying it.
