Didn't take too long for the police to realize they couldn't do much if it kept on going. Saw one cop run across screen reaching for his sidearm near the begining.

The better course of action would have been to completely ignore them.

It is hard for those outside of Oklahoma to understand the magnitude of the tragedy in Moore.

The WBC shows up to protest...... What were they protesting. A bunch of children dying?

They came to McAlester once and someone cut all their tires. Then no one in town would sell them any tires. Finally Wal-Mart agreed to sell them some tires because it was the only way they were going to ever leave town.

Then came back and protested for two hours and the response was to ignore them. If no one shows up are they really protesting?

But to show up in Moore.... If I had known I would have driven over there and stood with you against these 'protesters'.

And thanks for showing up. Hopefully they will get it though their heads that they are not welcome here.

So much for "tolerance" from some in Moore, OK. Sounds more like mob rule and a case for dereliction of duty by the authorities there.

If Westboro Baptist isn't suing municipalities for allowing violations of Civil Rights, and Equal Protection Under The Law, they're missing the boat.

Welcome to this decade Joe. I didn't see any of it happen but apparently Phelps, may he rest in peace, and about half his family are/were lawyers and would routinely sue people for violating their rights. It's widely alleged that it's how they make their expenses and their living.

The irony is thick - they're protesting Moore, apparently, for being phony Christians and inviting God's wrath. What an odd life to get wrapped up in.
