Help with Audi ABS idiot light

I really want to trade my '96 Audi Cab for a 93 300ce cab, but, in the mean time...

The antenna was grinding - $600 to replace by dealer. So I figured I'd just pull the power plug and leave the antenna up. Of course, I failed to disconnect the battery, and when I pulled the plug I blew a fuse in the fuse box and one in the back of the radio. After that the abs idiot light stays lit. (There's a tech bulletin for the car that says that this can happen after jump starting). I've got everything working again, but the abs light stays lit. I don't have a scanner or a VAG tool to read the code, and disconnecting the battery for 1/2 hour to "reset" the computer didn't fix it.

Am I stuck taking it to the dealer for diagnosis and treatment? I was hoping maybe when of you tech wizards could give me a tip on how to approach this. Thanks!
