That silver color has got to look decent with the tail lights. They only thing i dont like about the styling on the skye is the tail lights. They just seem weird to me

I think it looks alright, however I think it wears black the best. The chrome wheels are pretty awful though.

Entirely subjective, hugely biased opinion from a die hard Miata fan:

That thing sucks :P

But hey, if it floats your boat, enjoy!!

Hehe I do like miatas too. I cross shopped them -- miatas turned out to be slightly more expensive but lighter on their feet. Considering I am dding this on some awful roads, the comfort advantage goes a long way while still being fast and fun. This engine is absolutely nuts, even stock it is a screamer...I think this is every bit as fast as the 135. My complaint when it comes to performance is that the steering is a bit numb and disconnected. I am hoping to catch the next autox in a couple weeks so I'll see how it is on the course -- when these came out they were extremely competitive.

I've spent collectively 11 of the last 24 hours in the car and the more I drive it the more I love it. I don't have any backache or anything, and am not fatigued from driving it -- something I expected from a roadster. Basically it has very good highway manners, and kind of makes me wonder why I ever got the 135...

Are you considering an aftermarket hardtop for the winter months?

And it's gone! Along with the hideous reliability, incompetent dealers and high costs. The financials weren't pretty though :( to be expected in a depreciating asset whose market is in a nosedive. I will miss the seats and the smoothness of the engine/transmission but nothing else.

Wait, what?

You already traded the car?

You are in danger of chasing down iwrock for speed of moving on

Yeah I've had nothing but issues with this car and the dealers. In the near future I would have to drop a few grand for a good warranty, plus new tires and wheel bearings. A couple existing warranty items too, seat lumbar support and a factory vanos recall. It's been painful and amazing at the same time but for that in not gonna keep paying out the ass for this car. The sky is every bit as fast and has no roof .

I do see your point though I am on car #8 in 5 years

Also is much cheaper to mod...a thousand bucks gets you close to 350/350...

Lol, i misunderstood that you were referring to the bmw when you said its gone. I thought you traded the sky in already for another bmw. Whoops. :D

8 cars in 5 years is not bad. I think ive been through that many in 2013 alone. Craigslist is my muse

Haha no I am "downsizing" in terms of expense and complexity, literally too I guess. Since I got the explorer it makes no sense to have 2 cars to haul bikes and do winter duty. Otoh 135s are getting super cheap. Definitely a good buy going into this winter.
