condition is decent, was cheap because 170k on it. However the 2.0 zetec is a good motor, and it had complete maintenance history. I have been pretty impressed at the space layout of the escape platform, a very roomy small crossover vehicle. This variant is 240D simple to maintain. Some rust to fix,a rip in the seat, and removal of truly awful tinting job, and this is a DD for the next couple years at least. Ive been keeping my eye out for one ever since I came across this escape version at work. Guy has 350k on his and treats it like crap. still drove it every day. Came with a bonus CD of Notorious BIG in the stereo. http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...pszxjlotrh.jpg http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5eclg4ol.jpg http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...psqo7ytlou.jpg http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/...psmr371iuw.jpg |
Nice! I didn't realize those came in a 5 speed. Is it AWD/4WD?

I was checking those out for a while before getting the rx8. They're super cheap. Why such a high depreciation? I know one of the focus engines was generally problematic but I don't know how that crosses to the escape. The escape (not the new ones) are such a great size and pretty comfortable.

Ooh, I just saw the perfect family vehicle today: 5-speed Previa. RWD, Mid-engined 5-speed minivan.
