Angry No Respect

Whats up with today's society? Manners and respect for others all went down the drain. Today I went over to my friend's house to play basketball. While I was giving him a ride.. he opens the door hard causing the door to open all the way out and getting it stuck in the grass. When he tried to pull the door to close it, it wouldn't budge. Then he forcefully pulled it shut. I told him why did you do that? And my other friend in the car said to "chill.. its a 14 year old car!". I felt like kicking both of their asses right here and then. I keep my car clean and neat. In fact, I am having the car "restored" over the summer while I am visiting friends and family in Europe. But the main reason I am mad is that I noticed the grey panel of the door is now sticking out. there is a rubber thing on the corner of the door that came out and won't keep the panel on the corner. I told my friend "look what you did when you pulled it shut" and he said that "I didn't do it.. it was like that!" Funny that I cleaned the car a couple days earlier in that area and didn't notice any imperfections. I asked him to appologize for what he did and he wouldn't.

I don't understand why people have no respect for other people's belongings. They know I love my car and treat it well (unlike my friend who has a 92 sunbird that is going downt he drain!).. and regardless of its age shouldn't mistreat it or make fun of it.

Just felt like I had to share my anger and disappointment someplace. Sorry
