Thinking about adding an E63 wagon to the stable

What do y'all think? I like the w211 wagon a lot and I'm sure the 212 is nice too. I could very well run into issues with speeding tickets with something like this and I am real cheap so it may not be the car for me. I'm thinking about it though.

I've been eyeing these too, but they are near unicorn status around here. FWIW is also consider the CTS-V wagon. looks better at least

Can you get any fuel economy with one of those? (the benz not the caddy).

E63

Here is an example.

I think they don't get very good "city" mileage but I hardly drive in "city" mode.

The E55k wagon is faster and more reliable. Fatter torque curve throughout.

Just do it! After 15 years of driving SUV's with no real performance abilities, I'm having a ball with a 365 hp twin turbo sedan. An E63 would be even better.

When they're right they run like stink. That said I dont think the (new) 6.3 will ever be accused of being Mercedes best engineering effort. There is the possibility of serious problems unbecoming a Mercedes engine.

I had an E55K wagon for several years. Great car. Fast as all get out. About the same performance between the E55K and the E63, but very different in character. I decided never to purchase a car with the m156 6.3 liter because of the infrequent, but very severe problems with that engine. Also, price front brake rotors on the 6.3 car before jumping in...

My folks have a sl55 2003 I believe....car boils the tires without trying and they have never had to do anything to the engine other than scheduled maintenance. 78k on it now. Also NOW saying that the first owner put 15k on it and the car fax shows all fuel related items being replaced, injectors, pump, tank and even the supercharger before 15k. Not sure what that's all about. But def a fast ass car.
