Theres little doubt that she is really screwed now unfortunatly. What people seem to sacrifice for the moment is unbelievable to me on occassion.
The thing I find odd is the male reporting the issue. If nothing else that is going to terminate the ride. What is the world coming to? There will be so much perifial damage. For example I can see the husband having to leave his employment as a direct possibility as well. It is too bad it could not have been sorted out between the parties privatly.

 A quick google seemed to indicate that the age of consent in SC is 16 so I don't see how it is a crime.

Interestingly, if the teacher had been male and the student female, it may have been legal. (Age of consent for women in SC is 14 (!) )

She as a teacher is responsible for the welfare of children. maybe he can get an erection, but he is still a dependent child in the eyes of the law. She broke the trust that was put in her. Most parents would not think it was ok.
