My good buddy has a one owner 65k silver arrow for sale. But he is asking $16900. He is a small mb only dealer and has sold 5 of them previously so he knows what he is doing. So for $14500 I would go silver arrow

Dam I still can't believe my folks traded the sl55 for $14000. This sale right here proves my point to their stupidity

Well The rarer and later R129s will probably end up being worth more than your parent's generation SL (I never learned the chassis number) just because of their serviceability and heritage... The ABC suspension in the SL and S class is just horrible. In 10 years the only cars still on the road will have either been converted or low mileage collector garage queens.

Yeah the R230's especially the early ones are not exactly the pinnacle of SL's.
