Another misconception thanks to the marketing geniuses at MB. When will they finally admit that the C-Coupe is not a luxury car? I don't know what people at MB are thinking, but Mercedes Benz should have rebadged this a Dodge or something.

Like the 202 car? SLK230? These guys are off their rocker.

And what is it with Mercedes and the supercharger lately? What happened to the "there is no substitute for cubic inches" philosophy?

I am also starting to see more and more of these vehicles on the road, I just think they are plain ugly from a rear view.

What do you mean what's up with a supercharger? Mercedes started supercharging at least as far back as in 1928!

Oh well, to each his/her own.

I personally do not like it. I think it looks like a Focus hatchback.

When I showed the car to a few car illiterate guys and girls, they didn't even think it was an MB.

However, if you have one and are reading this. Please disregard my comment. It's just my opinion. I know what some people think about my car, however I don't care

Evrything that is from MB that is supposed to be performance oriented has a supercharger now. What disappoints me is the AMG supercharged models? Sure, they are super-fast, but what happened to boring and stroking the motor among other things to gain performance?

They already do that too... the AMG 55's are all M113 engines which originally started at 4300 cc. The other thing they can try is putting on more decals for more low end torque.

I don't think you can knock the AMG superchargers. It may not be boring and stroking, but these are no home garage bolt on super chargers, the charger on the new SL55 is probably the most sophisticated supercharger ever produced and the engine has been very finely tuned to work with it.
