Question for Joe about the Volvo V70
Joe,
How do you like the new V70? I just brought one for my wife last Saturday. I looked at used and new vehicles for about 3 months. Does the V70 has automatic door locking? I did not see this info in the owners manual. What are some of the major Volvo forums? I plan to upgrade the tires/wheels, add wood dash from exoticwooddash.com, tint rear windows and hatch (50%), and Xenon retro (when available from Volvo). Hello! We love our Volvo! We have had it since December and no troubles so far. I need to take ours and get the oil changed it has almost 6k on it. The dealer only reccomends every 7500k. I am gonna take it a little early anyway.
I do not believe it has automatic door locks. I know mine does not. I did not know if it was an option or not. It sounds like you gotta lot of big plans for yours! Mine is stock. I do want to add a rack of some kind to it and I wish the rear tailights were not so big and tall. It would be cool if they had clear lenses for those. I am sure I could find them if I look hard enough. The only forums I know of is brickboard.com and turbobricks.org. They are by no means as cool as this site or as active, but they are helpful from time to time. Let me know if you found more. Congrats! and good luck. You will enjoy it! I know we love ours. I discovered built into the back of the back seats is a security net that you pull out and put up as a dog barrier! It is very nice for when we carry our dogs around. They do not jump over the seats into the babies car seat! later,
