911 Turbo

I have a 500SL and I am thinking of trading this for a Porsche 911 Turbo. The SL is very nice but I realy miss having a clutch. Is the Porsche built as good as the SL? How are the 911 on long road trips. Anything good or bad about the 911 Turbo , I would like to hear about.
