This is just insane!

'Brady Bunch's' Jan sells home bought for $55K for $3.9M - Tucson News Now

How can you have a three bedroom, 850 sq. ft. house anyway? The "bedrooms" must be more like closets than any place you could actually fit a bed. It better have some extremely impressive views to command that price! I know California real estate is expensive but yikes!

Its in malibu CA, end of story.

Location location location. There are quarter acre lots with shacks on them made of driftwood selling for millions upon millions in places like Nantucket Island on the east coast.

I guess I am too used to living in the desert. There are some pricey places here but a super high quality "builder's lot" with fantastic views still goes for $100K or less.

I can see the appeal of the ocean front property but dayum! For three million dollars I'd want a place with rooms big enough to at least swing a cat.

Ah well, it's not MY money.

I'm sure that the new owner doesn't care about the bedroom sizes, and is pricing the rental of a bulldozer as we speak.

Some people have almost endless supplies of money coming in. A few million here or there mean nothing to them. As for the rest of us it is not quite the same.

She also might have been a very lucky young actor/actress. One that either the parents or managers did not steal a lot if not all her money. Many child actors had their incomes vanish illegally one way or another. .
