Picture of an atom visible to the naked eye
I always thought atoms were far beyond the vision of the naked eye. Well, apparently I was wrong.
Behold ... an atom of Strontium. ![]() Apparently that little sucker is 215 billionths of a millimeter. Not sure how we can see that as that is really really small but there it is. That little blue dot between the metal things. https://www.newscientist.com/article/2161094-a-single-atom-is-visible-to-the-naked-eye-in-this-stunning-photo/
