Ken Burns documentary: The Central Park 5
Viewed the special last evening, well worth watching. 7 to 13 years in prison for a crime they did not commit. The film really shows how the cops LIE to get you to confess to something you did not do. During interrogation, not one suspect demanded their right to a lawyer be present. YIKES!
Best to take a lesson from this and if approached by the POLice, STFU!!! |

Police should be required to have a lawyer present when interrogating suspects. If they are too unsophisticated to ask for one they may need two.

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't heard about this one. Amazing story. One whacked creep did it all.
Oops, I didn't know this was made in 2013. I really did miss it. Turns out my local library has it on DVD, will be sent to my favorite branch soon.
