Just one more example of the religious right not caring about kids after they are born. Loving caring couples want to adopt/foster kids but some religious wack job thinks that two dads or two moms can't make good parents. I guess the idiot in TN realized that the business interests were more important than the religious ones. Good result, wrong reason. The important thing is to get kids into families. Gay parents to not make bad families anymore than straight families do.

I'll never forger an article I read in the SF Chron about 8 years ago. Was about two gay men who had adopted two daughters, both of them black as it turned out. They showed a photo of them with the older one, 14 IIRC and a real cutie. She told the reporter that she had been molested a couple of times by straight fathers in foster homes and that she was real happy with her two new daddies who treated her very well and had no interest in getting into her pants.

The 'funny' part about this is that the catholic corporation has had to sever contracts with many cities due to their policies of allowing any qualified people to adopt children. I would think the catholic corporation would be more concerned about their leaders raping and abusing young children than loving same sex couples adopting children and giving them a warm loving home. Then again, religious dogma tends to blind people to logic.
I have asked the mods to move this thread but so far no luck.
