I finally took the plunge.

I sanded the burlwood on my center console, to lighten the scratches, and covered it with Vinyl laminate which is in aluminum look. Looks decent, as the cracks still show, but I like the aluminum look. I'll be doing this to the rest of my wood, only I wont be sanding any of the rest, except the cracked ones.

Pics will come later, but for those who will be at the euro install meet, you will get to see it. Really looks good with my new shift knob and all.

And it looks cool in the interior.
