LSU Tigers football
I’m the opposite of a football fan. I don’t watch, don’t care.
A friend of mine (ardent Democrat activist) sent me this link, which given the source, was a bit bewildering. It’s not really about football much, but the connection is real to the bone. Not a huge football fan either, but the head coach of LSU is what a football coach should act like. It was not this season but saw him at a halftime interview, the reporter asked what do you plan to change in the second half. He said "we will not change anything, I am just going to go in there and tell them, we must block the person we are supposed to block, catch the balls that are catchable, and when you have your arms around someone who has the ball, tackle them", paraphrasing. It was none of this mamby pamby we were not focused enough, blah blah blah, you normally get.

Just saw LSU at the White House. Will try to post a link latter if I can find one of the coaches very short message. It just reiterates what is on post #2. Class act , no PC BS took no credit, but gave much out to other staff and players.

My poor Clemson Tigers lost but I’m OK with the loss. I can’t remember when an Ivy League college team won the college football championship ?
