The existing food supply chain cannot meet the demand currently. Simply because those that can. Will continue over buying. For at least a month in my opinion.


Trump did have a meeting with the CEOS of the major food stores. Yet did not enable rationing or limitations of quantity of food purchased. So the food riots will probably erupt in the larger cities first.


North America is stuck with administrations that only react to situations at best. Where proactive behavior is required. The Canadian government has not proven any better.


Both governments where freely allowing sick people into the country. Still are in fact. Both administrations are finished as lack of leadership. The vacuum they have created will be filled by others. What both have done goes way beyond any level of acceptability.


American states and Canadian provinces are trying to do what they can at this time. The central governments of both countries have proven dysfunctional in both countries with this.


China both gave them time to act and proved that you can control this virus.


The rioting if it happens should be in the largest cities to start with.
