Nope, the name book tells me all the details I need to know about anyone who goes by "David". The secret universe of names.
One thing for sure, neither myself, nor my friends or enemies should ever take a job with a boss who is named David. BIG MISTAKE. You'll get ulcers, you'll begin to question your sanity, you'll come home from work with a bundle of nerves. NO MATTER HOW MUCH MONEY THE COMPANY PAYS YOU, IT SIMPLY IS NOT WORTH IT TO WORK FOR A DAVID. Of course, THEY think they are perfectly normal and everyone else has the problem. Another thing I've learned about Davids is under no circumstances will they keep a secret. They will rat your business from the highest hill in town. Count on it. |

I suggest you purchase the book, "The Secret Universe of Names" before making judgement. I had to special order the book and waited two weeks for arrival.
Here's a hint on David. The first letter is the key, "D" as in dying, death, decadent, dead. "A" of course is open and positive so these two are in conflict with each other. It makes for one unstable individual. |
birth order and astrological sign also weighs in on the picture but that is another discussion.......

I heard a story about a National Guard company who was assisting the LAPD in the Rodney King riot. They'd chase some rioters into a house. The LAPD directed the guard soldiers to "cover them" while they advanced on the house to make arrests. So, the guard soldiers opened up on the house with automatic rifle fire. |
The rodney king beating; the gift that keeps on giving. To this day, race relations between LAPD and the black community in the City of Angels is strained, to say the least.

My cousin-in-law was an MP in the NG. He said the LA riots really got rolling because of a Mag-Lite flashlight. There was a scuffle between a small group and LAPD. LAPD was out numbered as had to retreat. In the retreat, one of the LAPD officers lost his Mag-Lite. That flashlight became a trophy to the group and that emboldened them to do some more ****, and the rest is history. Cuz' said if they'd got that Mag-Lite back, and ****ed up the guy who had it, there might not have been an LA riot.
Cuz' said the democracy with the best anti-riot procedures is South Korea. Their riot police are actually... musical, thumping out a catchy beat with their sticks and shields. Every rioter knows that if they can hear the music and stick around they're going to get their asses kicked. Years ago a deputy in Bubba County, Floriduh shot a fleeing Black suspect in the back four times, killing him. There were protests, mostly non-residents. The sheriff, who was about 6' 8" came on TV (picture Buford Pusser in Walking Tall), and said they can have their protest, but if things get out of hand he'll take the action necessary (i.e. shooting more Blacks). There was no rioting. The shooting was legal because the suspect was on the porch of a house that had been converted into a business that was closed. He was trying to force the door open. That attempted burglary was a forcible felony, allowing the deputy (or any citizen) to shoot the suspect dead. Almost every county in Florida was worried about riots if (anybody who's read Floriduh's self-defense law knew it'd be "when", not "if") George Zimmerman was acquitted. But, nobody was worried in Bubba County. |
