You should go to a country with Marshal law. You have a habit of making comments on topics of which you have absolutely no knowledge.

No, that's a state of emergency, a routine thing in Floriduh after a hurricane.

Black college students used to gather in Virginia Beach every Labor Day. Things got out of hand. My cousin-in-law commanded a VNG military police company. He'd spend every Labor Day sitting in the turret of a HUMVEE, pointing a .30 cal. machine gun at the Black college students.

Correction, thats what lack of leadership at a federal level looks like.

When this thing started in wuhan, the Chinese locked down the entire region, no one moving anywhere. Guess what? They got past the outbreak and are in the recovery phase now.

Here, we have 50 different states doing 50 different things to contain this, and most of them are violently competing for resources. Might as well be 50 different countries. Right now people leaving NYC potentially carrying the virus and not respecting quarantine orders in states where they arrive is a massive problem. They are flooding into surrounding states and RI and cape cod in MA are popular vacation home destinations that people are heading to. This is what is considered a super spreader event since the NY metropolitan area basically spans 3 states with 3 different governors doing 3 different things. I fully support the RI governor stopping NY plated vehicles to remind them to quarantine if they are staying in the state, because geographically, thats something thats actually possible to do.

Martial law would be TURNING AWAY every vehicle that doesnt have a RI plate.

Now president knucklehead was "thinking" about locking down the NYC area federally, and thats weeks to late to be useful.

It amazes me to see how brutal hate can blind so many. The MSM contrived it and throws gasoline on this fire every day.

I've got the entire history of military law in the United States beginning with the Commonwealth of Virginia declared Military District Number one and ruled "at the point of a bayonet" immediately after the so-called "war between the states".

Here's the table of contents from William E. Birkheimer's book "Military Government and Marshall Law". Any of his works are worth the time and trouble to read. He forgot more about Marshall Law and Military Government than David will ever know.

I was ignoring this, but when you quote a title of a book and say "marshall" instead of "martial" yet again, as if the book itself is making the same mistake, I have to say something. Marshall is a name.

Use the correct word if you want to be taken seriously

Sorry, it's tired-thirty here and my typing skills have taken a hit. That said, we've all lived under some form of martial law/rule all of our lives on this planet.

Occupied.

At least he didn't shoot them. Back in the 1920's a certain wealthy family paid for machine guns to be set up on a hill overlooking the city to mow down blacks during the famous Tulsa race riot.

Defining what martial law (you know it as Marshall law) is does not mean that any part of the us is currently under martial (Marshall as you know it) law.

You really need to put the shovel down. You keep digging holes you cant get out of. Don't you just get tired of it?
