Teen Aged Angst

I wasn't sure if this should be added to the crabby old women thread .

There's a saying "when they begin to smell themselves" ~ it means when young people begin going through puberty .

We still have two 15 year old foster boys and it's interesting watching them when they get up or sometimes get home after school .

For no discernible reason they become sullen .

I give them their space and after a while they'll come over and begin talking, their normal cheerful & upbeat selves, full of ideas and questions about life .

One wants to begin working soon, he's been helping me on various jobs for a few years now but always loses interest and flags after three hours or so .

Mine will be 13 december. Mine to did come home moody alot, I did to in school. People don't understand that schools can be worse than our prison system. Kid's divide into different racial groups, drug groups, kool, preppy, smart, jocks, and bullies. school can be living hell. you can't tell your parents, and be labeled a snitch. I had enough in 11th grade, and loaded my 177 cal. dart, pellet chrome pistol, looked like a .25 auto, to school. to shoot a ******* in the kneecap. it fell out of my book bag. panick the teacher thinking a real weapon. I hid in my locker, got 2 week suspension. When I came back it was the Moses part the Red Sea. Student's go out of my way. Big black dude's would give me smokes. Ultimante bad ass. As far as teen age moods, in grandson my daughter had deppresion from me, and depression on fathers side. which causes drug use. so for 2 beautiful weeks giving lithium ornate, a weak natural lithiun to samuel, has showed great results.

You're -so- right Nate ~ my foster boys have the helluvva time in high school .

Here's hoping Samuel makes it through O.K. and has a good life .

It does not matter where, private or public. we have a shortage here of bus drivers. I don't blame them. Need camera's on all buses and rider's to manage kids. Stupid red neck parents here won't take the word of a adult, that child misbehave's. Need camera's, in halls, classrooms,and bathrooms

found out samuel having a real bad time, I wrote school this.Hey Nate Rector here,the curb painter. Sorry not using this as a favor. Few people know horror's children face every day in school. In both private and public, Staff turn a blind eye to bullying. It is caused by school itself with promoting the person, and not the team. Parent's these days will not take the word of a adult, and punish childs bad behavior. Parents come house stoned or drunk and beat their child.Staff are afraid to talk to parents.
Now my grandson Samuel Stover who's been with us since his Mom died, has had hell for over 3 year's. Seem's all have jumped him. He say's thing's like he wants to go to heavan with his Mom.
School, can cause suicide, or mass shootings.
No one does anything. We need uniforms in all schools camera's halls. buses, bathrooms, and class rooms. It is enough.
Bullied children's parents should sue school system, for billion's in damage's.

I feel badly for Samuel Nate .

My son was the shortest and skinniest kid at school when he was in grade school, it was a very good school but the gang bangers wouldn't leave him alone .

If I'da gone and kicked some ass like he wanted they'd have beat him mercilessly, I had to teach him a few tricks I'm sure you know, be cleverer then the bullies and never, EVER start a fight or let the teacher see you fighting.....

It didn't take long for those same cowardly bullies to want to be his friend .

The simple fact that Samuel has an involved grand father who cares will piss off the cowards who are from those pathetic families .
