Tv Show

A little off topic here, but who is a fan of the classic TV show Knight Rider? I have just watched an episode and have always been a fan of the show. An alot of episodes have the W107 380sl's in them and some early w126's.

I remember in one episode, something happened with KITT and Michael had to drive a 380 sl for a replacement. That was my favourite episode!!

There is also going to be a movie or something of Knight Rider coming out in 2003!

I loved Knight Rider. I would have been even better if KITT was a Benz, I will definitely be seeing the movie.

I remember attending a World of Wheels show many years ago, and they featured KITT...

...must have been one of the extras used during filming...the paint quality was marginal, and it was "swirl-mark city" ...I think they buffed it with a burlap sack!

Ever notice that the paint is always clean on the show. He would drive through sand or something and when he gets out it is clean!

Black paint like that with all the washing and dirt and stuff must be swirl mark city!!

Yeah - loved that show.

Michael was doing a better job there than he was at Baywatch.

Anyway, what did KITT stand for?

I remember the SL for sure. It's his boss's car right. What's his name... Myles or something...

Yeah the boss had the red SL. His name was Devon. And the black guy RC3 used to borrow the SL when he had to spy or investigate something to help out Micheal.
