Civil Forfeiture: stealing in the name of the law.
OK, here we go again on the subject of government steals from the sheeple then claims, "no joy". Civil forfeiture is a serious problem, you can find yourself caught up in their stealing your property on any given day of the week. Here's ONE EXAMPLE of how your government treats your friends and neighbors......

the feds are known to sell the confiscated loot amongst themselves for very very little money. A million dollar gold coin collection might get sold to one of the FBI agents for nickels and dimes. from federal to state to local, civil forfeiture is their main meal.
