Of course, it is fiction and really implausible. This is like that scenario in comic books, when Spider-Man sees a crime in progress. The odds of any one person seeing a crime in progress are very slim, Spider-man included.

But there is sort of an odd macho appeal about someone being capable enough to interfere with a miscreant in that manner.

back in the day there was a certain well known martial artists (he has been an actor in a few movies) who one day was in a dive bar here in town having a beer. Out of nowhere, a four or five red necks started a do or die bar fight. He stood back from the bar and said, "I will take all of you on at once".

My friend happened to be in the bar at the time; he told me bodies were flying through the air and within a few minutes the martial arts guy had knocked all of them out cold on the floor.

By that time someone had called the police. He turned, walked out the door of the bar, got into his car and left never to be heard from again.

I have greatly enjoyed the original series of Reacher books, the later ones are still okay .

Looking at that video clip I imagine I'd enjoy the movies but I am able to grasp that they're 100% fantasy things unlike husky man and others who choose to live life in fear .

My guess is that most people never encounter a situation like that once in life. There was a scene of him banging some ass in prison, that would be somewhat likely.

I get a kick out of the Equalizer movies with Denzel. But they also are pretty improbable, just over the top.
