I think I have COVID...

Went to Walmart Friday, Sunday started coughing for no apparent reason, yesterday very fatigued, today I can hardly walk and have muscle aches/sore back. I have most of the symptoms except loss of smell which the newer COVID variants do not cause so much. I have never been so fatigued from an illness. Been vaccinated but several years ago. Everyday has been worse. We will see what tomorrow brings.

Tony, If you are in a high risk group, consider reaching out to a doctor. Get well soon.

Thanks-I am very healthy. It is uncomfortable but mostly that I can't do or don't feel like doing anything.

I had it for the third time about two weeks back. It started with just feeling fatigued, a little feverish and a runny nose for a day and a half. The next morning I could barely muster the energy to text my manager that I was taking a sick day. I texted him at 6:45am, went downstairs to let the dog out and fell asleep on the couch until 1pm.

I tested that evening still feeling feverish and got a positive indication. I had a headache in the back of my head and a bit of brain fog for the next two days.

My wife had a very similar experience but she also had very painful and red eyes for two days. She couldn't wear her contacts.

The vaccine only lasts for about six months, so its wise to get it prior to the start of the regular flu season. I was going to get it, but I ended up getting COVID a few weeks prior to getting a booster.

Same here. Got it 3 weeks ago. Cough, fatigue, fever. Better now. Still coughing a bit and congested but those always stick with me for a bit when I get sick.

The virus is going through my warehouse. Quite a few have had it.

I have noticed that every ailment is multiplied by the virus-I guess that's why it's so dangerous to compromised people.

New symptom. I took a shower and the water felt uncomfortable spraying on my skin. Also my skin is sensitive to clothing on my body. I am thinking about getting tested so I will know for sure if I need to quarantine. I am already keeping my distance from people especially my wife. I told my wife COVID can cause brain fog, and I am finally vindicated.

So far my wife and I have missed out this season. But we work in schools so are at the forefront of it. My wife will be getting the shot soon I'm sure but I'm not sure I'll be doing one again. Certainly didn't prevent us from getting it in the past and I'm no longer comfortable being a guinea pig for the Tyrell Corporation.

Better today in spite of not a great night's sleep. I tried to get tested a yesterday ago and the process was so frustrating I gave up. Basically I need an appt with my dr, dr prescribes the test, I go the hospital and they administer the test, then the dr calls me with the results. Probably a $500 test by time it's all done. I could have gone to Rite Aid and bought a test for $10 but by then I did not care if I had Covid or not-I had been isolating as if I did. Now my wife feels ill.

I take elderberry for any virus. this covid is hard to know when to take a anti viral. Kicked my butt for 2 weeks. Cough got so bad I use predisone for my arthritis, so maxed at 60 mg, and tapered down. cleared lungs fast.

I lost my sense of taste (totally) a few days ago. Seem to be slowly improving.
