This usually leads to a lot of accidents due to yahoos thinking they can drive in the snow.

I have seen it show once in Houston. The overpasses are quickly clogged with spun out cars and everyone else winds up sitting for hours while it is cleared.

Hopefully people will just stay home.

I had 6" of snow in my yard. I've been here 30 years. That's the first snow accumulation I've seen here.

It got cold enough that it all stuck to the streets. Bubba County has zero snowplows, salt spreaders, or brine spreaders. So, that 6" of snow pretty much shut down everything for two days. On shaded parts of roads, the snow got packed down into ice.

IOD?

Probably not one within 100 miles of here. People here do have snow shovels, though. They're good for guarding your ankles and shins from poisonous snakes when you're trying to kill them.
