Someone come save me, I'm in Iowa
Well, not really, but I need some things to do. So I've been in Iowa City one day and I've walked the entire downtown. Aside from bars there's not much around here.

Do they have a Mercedes Dealership? I know it would likely be closed as today is Sunday, but you could stand outside and peer in through the glass at a nice new SL500.

I feel for you Kuan!
 I only passed through Iowa City on my way to Rochester, Minnesota for my brother's wedding many years ago. Whew! A few years later, my new sister-in-law who originally hailed from Iowa had the family reunion there! It was a very short one, as that was the summer of '93 when the Midwest was hit with that bad flooding! Fortunately, we had left Iowa City before it had gotten really bad...then watched it turn into "Venice City" on the news a week later!
